The airport's eyes and ears
Our Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) is the communications hub of the airport. The team works on a 24/7 roster to monitor and oversee the operations of the airport, including the terminal, car parks and airfield.
They are the airport’s eyes and ears, responding to customer queries and dispatching help when it’s needed, coordinating emergency response remotely, and notifying the airport community of potential issues or hazards.
Our IOC team works closely with the Airport Services, Ground Transport and Airport Fire Service teams to monitor several systems, including the Terminal Fire System, Emergency Alerting System, CCTV cameras and Access Control System. They also have their own weather station and advise the wider airport community of forecasted severe weather events.
